LISTEN and SILENT are two words, an anagram with exactly the same letters. One of the most powerful ways to connect is to listen and be silent

The power to listen and the self control to be silent

We have two ears and one mouth and are often in transmit mode rather than receive.   We often make far too much noise in our internal world (in our heads) and in our external world, the amazing world that we all live in.

Silence is a virtue, will be a common tenet that many of us will have heard.

Virtue comes from the Latin word virtus, and put simply, is moral excellence A virtue is a positive trait or quality deemed to be morally good and is thus valued as a foundation good moral being and fortitude and seek to promote and improve individual and collective greatness.

Go Silent Friend

When you find someone that you can trust, when you talk and share confidences, the more silent the friend the stronger the freindship, the deeper the trust.

We live in a social media and information rich world, that is instant and increasingly less private, less secret. and so the trust of friendship and a friend that can listen and stay silent, without betraying a confidence is a rare gift.

But they acquired good personal finance habits, learned how to save money, and improve their money management skills, eventually becoming some of the most successful people in their communities. And anything that anyone else has done, you can probably do as well.

Save Money by Using a Long Time Perspective

To save money and become financially independent you must begin living on less than you earn even if you are deeply in debt. One of the most important guarantors of your personal finance success is called “Long time perspective.” Take the long view. Develop a long term attitude toward yourself and your financial future and begin thinking in terms of where you want to be in five and ten years. This long-time perspective will have an inordinate impact on your personal finance habits and money management skills in the present, and will help you save money over the years.
